Go back to the glory days when the Hall hosted Saturday night movies. Kids cuddled up in blankets and couples lurked up in the balcony.

The Mt Pleasant District Historical Research Group will be putting on a great old movie that has ties to the district.

‘Robbery under Arms’ is a movie taken from the book written by Rolf Boldrewood, and starring Peter Finch. It is the tale of Captain Starlight’s exploits - including a trip to Palmer - of cattle rustling and the good old days.

Join us in the hall and get into the spirit by dressing up in period costume. The Red Cross will be selling popcorn and drinks to really get us into the spirit.
